Jacob, you struck a nerve with what you just wrote. I coach people in Recovery and most of them need help for even basic essentials.Some live in shelters or cars and do everything they can not "look homeless". I don't have a steady income and have been unemployed since I returned home in 2024. I could easily be homeless myself if my family wasn't there to help.
